Day in a life of a homeless person

Living in a informal settlement                                                               By Connor Russell  Living in a informal settlement is the worst.I have to walk so far to get water and then I have to bring it all the way back home. We have no electricity for technology we have to play outside.We have to share toilets with everyone. We also have to make our own food and our house is a double story mad of wood and metal.We have a soccer ball and a tennis ball to we have fun when we walk to school because we see a hole lot of things and rocks and we have to walk far to get to school and we have fun adventure all day everyday. The food is good and we have fun at night we don’t have to go to bed. The house is wet and it leaks all day long and the metal rusts we have to clean our selfs in a bucket or river all day and we have to share toilets and soccer balls and we play soccer game.We have no blankets or pillows or a bed at all.We play until Dinner we go to school

The singing inspector

‘ The singing inspector                                                  Benny Last week the singing inspector came to our school. We had to go to the same class he was.When we we’re inside the classroom we sat down and then the inspector called Charles and I first.We didn’t know any songs except pretty polly pretty polly and that song is annoying.The singing inspector shouted at us. Then we said we now pretty polly pretty polly. Then when we we’re singing pretty polly pretty polly he shouted at us.Then he said get out and then we left the classroom and we had to write exams with the big boys.I told my dad about the singing inspector.Charles and I hope he get’s fired.

The grade 5 Camp

When we first got to camp we put our stuff down. The whole way to camp I thought about my parents and I missed my mom and dad so much and there was Lots of fun. I even did the leap of faith. and we swam in the river and watched a movie to we watched  Toy story.We made our own potjie. The bus ride was exsiting cause I really wanted to se my pareants and sister.

Grade 5 so far.

I'm back at Elkanah and I'm happy to be back and my first week back was so much fun and  I'm enjoying bieng back at Elkanah and theres so much sport here at my old school. there was no sport at all and I'm loving it back here and.  I  hope i do well this year.The work is hard compared to my old school.
