Day in a life of a homeless person
Living in a informal settlement
By Connor Russell
Living in a informal settlement is the worst.I have to walk so far to get water and then I have to bring it all the way back home. We have no electricity for technology we have to play outside. We have to share toilets with everyone. We also have to make our own food and our house is a double story mad of wood and metal. We have a soccer ball and a tennis ball to we have fun when we walk to school because we see a hole lot of things and rocks and we have to walk far to get to school and we have fun adventure all day everyday.
The food is good and we have fun at night we don’t have to go to bed. The house is wet and it leaks all day long and the metal rusts we have to clean our selfs in a bucket or river all day and we have to share toilets and soccer balls and we play soccer game.We have no blankets or pillows or a bed at all.We play until Dinner we go to school every day and my dad works far away and my mom does our laundry for us.We eat chicken and vegetables and apples and mangoes. We like to grow plants and fruit and vegetables. We have know TVs or iPads or phones. There are leaks in our roof and our walls to our metal walls. We have to come out and fetch our water and we have to look after our dog and get him food and we have to feed our selfs to.
